Bergamo and Lake Iseo Excursion
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza IV Novembre and board a bus that will take us from Milan to Lake Iseo. We're sure you're looking forward to seeing this true jewel of Italian nature!
After about 2 hours of traveling, we'll arrive at the fourth-largest lake in Lombardy. Once there, we'll board a ferry that will take us to Montisola, a mountain in the middle of these waters that houses one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
Did you know that Montisola is the largest of all the inhabited islands of the European lakes? We'll disembark in Peschiera Miraglio, whose port is sure to surprise you with its beauty! You'll have 2 hours of free time to explore this island. Small villages, narrow alleys, churches, and exquisite cuisine await you.
Then, we'll meet again to enjoy another boat ride on Lake Iseo. After 30 minutes of sailing, we'll disembark and board a bus that'll take us to the Upper Town of Bergamo.
We'll be in Bergamo for another 2 hours, enjoying the beauty of its historical center. You'll be able to admire the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, the medieval walls, the funerary monument known as Cappella Colleoni, which is dedicated to one of the most important generals of the 15th century, and, of course, the Piazza Vecchia!
Finally, after 10 hours of activity, we'll finish the excursion back at the starting point.
