Bergamo Tour from Milan

At 1 pm, we'll meet at the Visitors' Centre in Largo Cairoli. From there, we'll leave Milan behind and travel by bus to the beautiful Lombard city of Bergamo.

Arriving in the lower part of the city, we'll take the Città Alta funicular, which will take us to the highest part of the city. There we'll take a guided tour of the historic centre of Bergamo, where we'll discover the most important places of interest in the Upper Town. You're sure to be captivated by the Piazza Vecchia, where we'll get to admire the striking façade of the Palazzo della Ragione.

We'll then continue our tour of the centre of Bergamo to Piazza Padre Reginaldo Giuliani. This is one of the main religious centres of the city, home to the spectacular Cathedral of Sant'Alessandro, the Baptistery, the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and the Colleoni Chapel.

During the tour through the old town of Bergamo, we'll also stop at several viewpoints to enjoy the extraordinary panoramic views of the Lombard landscapes stretching between lakes Como and Garda.

Finally, we'll take the funicular to the Lower Town of Bergamo and from there we'll return to the meeting point in Milan, where we'll arrive back at 7 pm.
