Itinerary
The tour meets at the indicated time at the via dei Chiostri, to tour Milan by Segway, a comfortable means of electric transport, allowing you to discover the best of Lombardy's capital. We'll begin at the Sempione park, whose very design was created with panoramic views of both the Sforza Castle and the Arch of Peace in mind.
And these two monuments will be the two next stops on our tour, the former being a fortress with a long history, having survived attacks by Napoleon and bombardments in the Second World War. Then we'll point our Segways to the Piazza Mercanti, where we'll stop on our way to Milan's star attraction: the Cathedral.
This majestic cathedral is the most visited attraction in Milan, thanks to its spectacular gothic architecture. The cathedral is the third largest in the world, and is topped by a statue of Napoleon. As construction took six centuries to complete it Napoleon who ordered and promised funds for the completion of the intricate facade, after his conquest of the Italian peninsula.
The next stop is the luxurious Galería Emanuele II, which houses shops from the most prestigious clothes brands in the world, and pays testament to the central role Milan plays in the global fashion industry. Then we'll Segway over to the Teatro alla Scala, where some of the world's most important operas have premiered.
The tour then ends in the Brera neighbourhood.
